Bottle Gourd, a vegetable famous for its health benefits, is very common in most Indian households. The bottle gourd belongs to the Cucurbitaceae gourd family and is a running, climbing vine. The texture of the bottle gourd is slightly slimy, with a green and slender outer body. It is usually harvested quite young and isn’t very difficult to grow.
